MELBOURNE CUP

Hand drawn logotype for Melbourne Cup, Australia's major annual thoroughbred horse race. I wanted to convey a feeling of movement and speed through elegance. Logo was first rendered in pencil, then scanned and drawn again in Illustrator. Made with the guidance of Doyald Young.
